dc.description.abstractIt was matter of little time before mathematicians started to use power series expansions to find solutions of differential equations. The series solution method is mainly used to find power series solutions of differential equations whose solutions can not be written in terms of familiar functions such as polynomials, exponential or trigonometry ric functions. The methods like frobenius and power series in this section are useful in solving, or at least getting an approximation of the solution, differential equations with coefficients that are not constant around ordinary and singular pointen_US
