dc.description.abstractPurchasing practice in Ethiopia was not recent phenomena Nowadays, it plays curtail role by providing the necessary material to other department. The investigation would be conducted on effectiveness and difficulties or challenges of purchasing activity in Wolkite University. The major objective of this study would be focused on improving purchasing mechanism of challenges enriching practice with the most relevant information and assessing the department. To do this both primary and secondary data was needed for successful achievement of the study. Primary data would be collected from purchasing department committee and the manger though open and closed ended questioner. But secondary data would be gathered from different document, books, and reports of purchasing department. The study used judgmental or purposive sampling techniques. After the required data collected from both primary and secondary source it would be analyzed using descriptive analysis for logical conclusion.en_US
