dc.description.abstractThemainpurposeofthisstudywastoexaminetherelationshipbetweenperceivedparentingstyles andadolescents’disciplinarybehaviorinabafiransasecondaryschoolandPreparatorySchool.By usingsimplerandomsampling87participantswereselectedfromgrade9andgrade11students. Quantitativeresearchquestionnairewasadministeredtocollectdata.Thedatawereanalyzedby descriptivestatisticssuchPearsonProductMomentCorrelationcoeficient.Correlationanalysis showedsignificantrelationshipsbetweenadolescentdisciplinarybehaviorandthefourparenting styles.TheresultrevealedthatAuthoritarianparentingstyletendedtobemoreprevalentthan amongotherthreediferentparentingstyleandalsotheresultdeterminedthatauthoritativeen_US
