Abstract
The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of teacher quality on students’ academic achievement in Abafransua primary school. Four basic questions were formulated, which emphasized that how teacher quality affect student academic achievement? Having the study purpose in to account this study used a simple random sampling technique to generate the required data, the qualitative and quantitative method was employed in examining the issue as well as appropriate instrument has been devised and used. These instrument was questionnaire the data gathered through it is expressed in percentage, the result of this study indicates that teachers knowledge on subject matter, the relationship of teachers quality and academic achievement of students finally to increase academic achievement of students it is recommended to give professional development opportunity for teachers to improve their knowledge and experience
