| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study is to assess the promotion, transfer and demotion practices of Wolisogeneral hospital. Among 403 employees of the hospital 80 employees were participated in thestudy. Simple random sampling method is employed to reach the target population. Questionnaires were used to collect data for the study. Formally the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively by using percentage and presented tables. The finding of thestudy indicates that to ascertain promotion, demotion and transfer polices practiced, identify themajor objectives, to know present practice and to outline and explain the bases of promotion, demotion and transfer. since as the main practices of the hospital regarding on promotion, demotion and transfer.
