ASSESMENT OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT PRACTICE IN SMALL SCALE ENTERPRISE (IN CASE OF WOLKITE TOWN)

Abstract

This study is conducted on micro small enterprise in wolkite town. The research focus on identifying and clarifying the main problems associated with the financial management in micro and small enterprises. In order to achieve its objectives the researcher has targeted The researcher use sample survey because there are 39 employees in wolkite town MSEs. The primary data obtained from the owner of micro and small enterprise through observation and questioner. The data for study was analyzed qualitative and quantitative means of analysis. Finally the researcher made conclusion and recommendation was forwarded for raised problems. The study was able to bridge the gaps that were not covered by the previous studies since none of the studies had looked into financial management practice of MSE apply financial management practice and the weakness that were found out in their current operations hindering their efficiency in terms of profitability and business growth
