dc.description.abstractThis study describes an assessment on livestock contribution for farmers in come improvement in Abichu Gnea woreda the case of Nesiri Trign kebele. The study specified the objectives of to identify livestock contribution farmer income in the study area to assess the factors livestock production, to compute the contribution of livestock in the form income and to total income of the farmers to examine the role of livestock to food security and increase economy as a whole. The research design was used in this study descriptive survey research in order to describe the livestock contribution of farmer’s income in Nesiri Trign kebele in Abichu Gnea woreda, North Showa Zone. In this research simple random sampling was used and also which is embraced information from the respondents that is through questioner, observation and key in formal with interview of the office of the kebele. The finding information of the study area was listed as the medium livestock. The effects of study area was many additional problems for the farmer of Nesiri Trign kebele for example lack of enough food, lack of rainfall, high temperature, the absence of infrastructure, absence of pure water ,lack of electricity and absence of road availability.
