dc.description.abstractIn this study, we present the Schmidt scheme and the Crank-Nicolson scheme for solv ing Burger-Fisher differential equations. These two proposed schemes are quite efficient and practically well suited for solving these problems. To verify the accuracy of these two schemes, we solve two examples of Burger-Fisher equations and compare numer ical solutions with the exact solutions. We found out that there is good agreement between the exact and approximate solutions. We also compared the performance and the computational effort of the two schemes in terms of comparing their absolute er rors. Finally, we conclude that both numerical schemes are efficient in terms of giving accurate solution to Burger-Fisher equations. en_US
