Abstract
The main aim of this study was practice and challenges of school leadership at abafransua
primary school and to identify factors affecting the implementation of school leadership in
the school. The study should have basic research question and it aimed to identify current
practice and challenges school leadership in abafransua primary school. Employed a
descriptive survey design. The study was conducted in abafransua primary school and the
data were collected from 7 teachers, 7 PTAs and 160 students of the school using simple
random sampling technique.. In the selection of the sample population purposive, available
and random sampling techniques were used. The main instruments used for data collection
was questionnaire. The data were analyzed using percentage, and frequency. The results of
the study indicate that almost the problem of school leadership in the school is leaderships
were not capable in their leadership profession to utilize the purposes of leadership and work
with teachers in a manner that is supposed to be. They weren`t in opposition to convince
teachers `even though they all work for similar educational goals. Finally, based on the
above findings, some recommendations have been forwarded based on the major findings so
as to minimize the problems encountered and to maximize the implementation of leadership
problems.
