Challenge of intramural sport activity; the case of Wolkite University

Abstract

The challenge of intramural sport activity in case of Wolkite university. To identify the impacts of intramural Sport Activity regarding finance, facility, equipment’s and individual development in Wolkite University. The design of the research instrument and the mode of data collection for the study were given in chapter three. The chapters specify the population used for the study how the sampled population was taken from the entire population on which the study was based.In this study a total of 37 population; students, sport department teacher, administrators and student union were taken as a sample. From this sample 5 of them were sport department teacher, were 7 student union, 5 were Administrator and 20 were student. For a better understanding of the situation a descriptive survey research method design. Questionnaire and interview were used as method of data collection. Finally, the results of this study showed that the majority problem of lack of facility, lack bath room, financial problem, coordination gap, an insufficient amount of awareness’, shortage of incentive
