Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the participation of community in school relation of hidase fire secondary school. Descriptive survey design helps together a large variety of data related to problem under study and it is also effective for providing a snapshot of the current behaviors, attitudes and beliefs in a population. The main objective of this research is to investigate the participation of community in Hidase Fire secondary school. To achieve this objectives quantitative and qualitative method are employed. The population of the study were 786 students, 76 teachers, 1 principal, 1 PTA repersentativ 1 supervisor , 1 WETB repersentativ , From this 41 students, 40 teachers, were selected. As a result systematic random sampling was assumed to be preferabele ,for school principal . PTA repersentativ .supervisor .study would use purposive sampling as all of them were taken as sample. Questionnaire and interview was the instrument for data collection. The data gathered was analyzed using by percentage and standard deviation. After analyzing the collected data recommendation would be made practices and challenges of community participation has been further strengthen
