Abstract
The study was conducted to assess compensation management practice in case of Wolkite TownCivil Service Of ice. The study was conducted by using primary and secondary source of data. The primary data was gathered from employees of the organization by the means of questionnaires’ with the concern of employee compensation management practice. Secondarydata were gathered from manual of the organization and other related materials. thetotal population of employee 38. Census was used for the researcher conducted. The data collectedfrom respondents were analyzed by descriptive method through percentage and tabulations. Based on the study the researcher concluded that Wolkite Town Civil Service Of ice did not havegood compensation management practice. There is no employee promotion policy intheorganization and in most case the working condition were not favorable. The studyrecommended, that it is better for the organization to provide promotion for well performingemployee, it is better to the organization create favorable work environment. Since most peopledesire an open, safe and welcoming environment, It is better to the organization to of er rewardto the employees with regard to their contribution to the organization by selectingbest performance. The individual employee would try to better and increase working competitionwhen the organization give reward based on their contribution
