dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to assess to of teachers participation in school management practices, in some selected primary schools of gubre sub city, Its main objective was to assess the status of teachers participation in school management and to suggest possible solutions, In this study, the researcher prepared open ended and closed questionnaires and interview in order to get available and necessary information for the study ,and used primary and secondary data sources, the researcher selected 2(100%) schools from2(100%)total schools found in gubre sub city, The collected data from the respondents was analyzed quantitatively in tables and qualitatively in statements. The total number of teachers are 135(100%)from those 20(27%) respondents were selected by using simple random stratified sampling techniques 2(100%) principals were included in the study based on purposive sampling techniques major of the respondents are at the age of work force, lastly , the findings, of the problem will drown from the study, in the sequence of basic questions and based on these findings of the problem the conclusion was drawn and the appropriate recommendations forwarded to help improve teachers’ participation in school management activity like, school based supervision planning, decision making performance appraisal, finance and management.
