dc.description.abstractFacial Recognition Based Attendance System is a machine learning-based system that handles and tracks the student attendance system using the web application and deep learning algorithms/models. It is a broad problem of identifying or verifying people in photographs and videos. In order to develop our proposed facial recognition system, we will use a deep learning approach which is currently the state of the art. Some of the main components of the proposed system are recognizing the Student Face and marking attendance of the recognized face. We will decompose the Student Facial Recognition Component into three phases. Basic Tasks that we are going to implement are Student Facial Recognition and Attendance Marking phase. On the current system of attendance marking and management, there are issues raised which need to be solved, such as security, economic and performance issues. There is no computerized attendance management system for students of Wolkite University. The proposed system is designed to solve this problem by developing software that can solve in raised problem issues that are existed in current system. The system is developed by using an agile software development model. Interview and literature review analysis techniques are used for data collection in order to prepare this document for developing the proposed systemen_US
