dc.description.abstractBackground:Diabetes mellitus is a chronic non-communicable disease characterized by hyperglycemia due to deficiency of insulin. It results in majority of morbidity and mortality among patients. To prevent and control the disease, it requires continuing medical care and ongoing patient self-management education. Due to inadequate self-care practice still patients with Diabetes mellitus experience devastating complications that increases the incidence and prevalence of that complication. In order to identify and fill the gaps observed in self-care practice, the current study is going to identify the self-care practices and its related factors among individuals with the diseaseen_US
