Abstract

The main objective of study was to investigate the impact of conflict handling methods one mployee performance in case of Gurage Zone Wolkite City Administration. To achieve its objective the researcher used descriptive research design in order to describe the state what actually happen. The study was used both primary data and secondary data. The primary data was collected through interview and questionnaire that involves both open and close ended question and the secondary data were collected from dif erent published and unpublished materials and manual. The total numbers of employees in the organization were 34. Since the target populations are small in number, the researcher used census method of survey. The collected data were analysed using tables and percentages, pie chart and graph. The researc hfinding shows that conflict handling methods have both positive and negative impact/ef ect on employee performance in the respective or researched organization called Wolkite City Administration with the major response .Finally based on the finding the researcher recommend that the organization should take dif erent measure to reduce/ minimize the negative impact of the conflict handling method.
