dc.description.abstractThe general objective of this study was to assess the financial literacy in wolkite university students. To achieve the desired objective, the researcher used descriptive type of research design because this type of research is commonly conducted to detail description to the phenomena and the researcher used Primary sources of data. The primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students by used random sampling technique because it gives fair and provide equal chance for each and every student selected as a sample. The collected data was analyzed by used descriptive analysis method such as tables and percentages. The findings suggested that remedial measures need to be taken to enhance the financial literacy of students. Financial and training programs need to be facilitated in various ways.en_US
