Abstract
The study would to assess the contribution of participatory decision making for job satisfaction
(in case of Wolkite town youth and sport office staff. Participatory decision making offered
valuable opportunities to focus on job activity and goals to identify and correct existing
problems and to encourage better current and future satisfaction of job. Thus performance of the
whole organization would to enhanced. Participatory decision making and job satisfaction is
very crucial in the office, because it gives new skill needed to perform their job effectively and
develop a quality job force. This study about participatory decision making and job satisfaction
on job performance also discuss about benefit, approaches and methods of decision. The study
would to conduct by gathering information though reviewing related books and documents in
addition to the main primary sources questionnaire both, open and closed ended questions and
interview that would to distribute to employees selected by simple random sampling technique.
The sample size is about 56% of the total population of 36 employees of Office which are job
administration area. These employees subject to the study are employees of Wolkite Town youth
and sport office who are managerial staffs.
