dc.description.abstractManagement information system broadly refers to computer based system that provides managers with tools to organize evaluate and efficiently manage department with an organization. The study was conducted on the the role of management information system on banking service delivery performance at cooperative bank of Oromia at Wolkite branch. To conduct the study the researcher used primary and secondary source of closed ended questioners. The study was adapting simple random sampling technique to collect full information from or measurable employees of the bank. The researcher used descriptive analysis method with the help of tables and percentage to analyze the data collected and to provide possible conclusion and recommendation. . Results indicate that MIS significantly contributes to timely decision-making, accuracy in reporting, and overall service quality. The findings underscore the importance of robust MIS in achieving strategic objectives and enhancing customer satisfaction in the banking sector. Recommendations include improving training programs for employees and investing in advanced technologies to optimize MIS performance.
