dc.description.sponsorship | The main purpose of this research would assess the unemployment and its socio-economic impacts in the case of Wolkite town. The researcher used both source of data collection primary and secondary source of data instrument. The researchers would also have employed qualitative and quantitative research approach and the design and the design are cross sectional where researcher meet the respondents once and was used questionnaires and interview and also the researcher used purposive sampling technique for 30 respondents from the Wolkite town social and workers and youth and sport office. The study finding get show that the unemployment in the town are due lack of sufficient job opportunity and population growth through migration from rural to urban for search of better life. The researcher finalizes that in Wolkite town even if currently the town administrator gives main emphasis to reduce unemployment it causes huge social and economic impacts on unemployed people which are male dominants than female. The researcher has duty to recommends that unemployment in the town are hinders many youths from social and economic benefit, there for town administrator should works to reduce this impacts of joblessness around the youth particularly from age ranges of 25-31 because this age groups are the productive age. So to the best of anyone who are response towards unemployment must be done to fill the impacts of joblessness. | en_US |
