THE IMPACT OF THE ETHIOPIAN MODERN STATE FORMATION ON GADA SYSTEM OF OROMO

Abstract

This study focuses on the assessment of Ethiopia modern state formation impact on the Gada system . The study in order to reliable and relevant data from primary and secondary sources IV has used different data collection instruments. The collected data has been analysed and interpreted in descriptive way aided by qualitative research approach.. Besides that the researcher has interviewed with (10) key informants to gather vital information’s on the topic of the study. To this end the data were analysed and presented through descriptive method of data analysis. According to the finding of the study, there are different negative impacts of Ethiopia modern state formation on the Gada system . Finally taking these facts into consideration the study has forwarded recommendation
