Abstract
The study is conducted on the role compensation on employee motivation in case of Wolkite
health center. The major objective of this study is the role of compensation on employee
motivation in Wolkite health center. The respondents to the study used both employees and
manager of Wolkite health center. All necessary data for accomplishment of this study would be
collected from primary source of data and secondary data such as published documents and
from internet. The primary data was collect through distributing questioner from employees and
manager.I used to a sample of 44 employees ‘out of 80 employees of the health center was
performed the study. The sampling methods was simple random for employee and purposive
sampling for manager. The result of data would be organized and analyzed by using simple
descriptive statics. The findings of the study were reflect that how the health center uses
compensation strategy on employee motivation that can use to boost the performance of
employees the organizations in Wolkite health center. The benefits and incentives provided by
the health center is not fair. This unfair provide of benefits and incentives leads to reduce the
motivation and the performance of employees, increase employee turnover and it also decrease
employee relationship in job as the result the productivity of the center is decline.so the Wolkite
health center respondents have answered about work experience of the employee in the
institution. 44 of the sample employees, the majority of the company workers have 5-8 work
experience. the salary level of the employee of the health center is above 6000.Based on the
analysis the analysis, were answered the Wolkite health center used mostly bonus and too
some extent the center also used salary increase, over time payee and flexible time types of
incentive in the Wolkite health center.
