dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the study was to identify factor affect smallholder farmer’s fertilizer demand in Grare Jarso woreda. In the study both primary and secondary data were used to investigate factor which affects fertilizer demand of smallholder farmers. Primary data was collected from 99 sample respondents selected by using simple random sampling technique from the total household of the study area. Interview was used to collected different data from sample respondents in the study area. The gathered data was analyzed by using econometrics and descriptive method. Logistic regression was employed to show factors affect the demand of fertilizer in Grare Jarso woreda. Results show there is low demand of fertilizer. Depending on the result we recommend that government have to use incentive like low price, supply fertilizer in their area, good credit access to farmers.en_US
