Abstract

The main objective of this study is to assess the role information technology on the employee recruitment selection practice in case commercial bank of Ethiopia yejoka branch. If recruitment is not done correctly, an organization’s recruitment efforts can produce job applicants who are unqualified, who lack diversity or who may decline job offers. These same applicants may be prone to turnover if hired. Information Technology (IT) has changed the business world many times over. In the Information Age, the advent of computers and the Internet has increased that impact significantly. More over this study has significant to the researcher to increase thinking and experience on the subject matter, for the bank to solve and fill the gaps and used as a reference to the other researcher. Many businesses particularly banking industry cannot even function without the use of computer technology. This impact is seen in nearly all areas of business, including human resources, where technology continues to have a significant impact on Human Resource (HR) practices. The study was conducted via descriptive type of research design and primary and secondary source of data has employed. The study was geographically delaminated in wolkite town at commercial bank of Ethiopia, yejoka branch. Conceptually to investigate the role of information technology on the employee recruitment selection in case CBE yejoka branch and finally the findings will be analyzed and recommendation and conclusion will be given
