Abstract

The major objective of this study was to investigate and recommend factors those affect the quality of primary education in Abafransua primary school. The study was employed descriptive method which involves both qualitative and quantitative, Data collection and analysis techniques. The subjects involved in the study were Abafransua primary school. Data was gathered by using tools like questionnaires and interview was used to get information from selected respondents. Regarding respondents 2 principals 35 teachers 21 students 10 PTA participated in the responses. The results of the study show that there is to some extent factors those affect the quality of primary education in study area in the schools in the cause of most of school teachers were found to be experienced to use active learning methods which make the students very active. So they were improved students’ academic result which was increased from the time to time. The school environment was not motivating and there were some extent insufficient teaching and learning materials. There were school facilities that unenable all staff members to work well, and all children to learn more over the school environment was inactive and safety. The school leadership was found to be poor as a result there were dominant and low community participation and the limited communication between teachers and parents.
