dc.description.abstractThis research mainly presents sixth order Rung-kutta seven stages method for solving the second order Initial value problems. In order to verify the accuracy, numerical solutions are compared with the exact solution. Further more, the results obtained using the current method are compared with the numerical results obtained by other researchers. The numerical results in terms of absolute errors presented in tables and plotted graphs show that the present method approximates the exact solution very well. Point wise absolute errors are obtained by using MATLAB software.en_US
