DETERMINANTS OF FEMALE STUDENTS PARTICIPATION IN VOLLEYBALL PRACTICAL CLASS IN THE CASE OF WOLKITE UNIVERSITY SPORT SCIENCE STUDENTS

Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to investigate the determinants of female student’s participation in volleyball practical class. The study was conducted in Wolkite University in 2011 E.C. Within university of students researcher was take 25 students and three teachers by using purposive sampling techniques. The data was collected from those Students and teachers by using questionnaire and interview. Based on the result of the respondents, there are number of determinant of female students in volleyball practical class. Such as, sufficient availability of teaching materials, psychological preparation, repetition of teach skill demonstration, teacher communication and provide feedback, Volunteer Motivation. To solve or increase these determinants and students must do collaborative effort, the teachers are providing minor competitions for female students, arrange them in group with good performer students, university
