Abstract
This study was conducted on the assessment practices and problem of decision making in case of Abaferensua preparatory and secondary school. The main objective of the study was to assess the practice and problems of decision making in Abaferensua preparatory and secondary school. The study is categorized in to descriptive types of research design which can be either qualitative or quantitative in nature. The study would emphasize on the decision making and to get more accurate data the researcher was used census method of techniques .The study would be used to more of a primary data which collected through questionnaire, and additionally would be use secondary data such as different books and report. After data collected from these sources, the analysis and interpretations is made by using different techniques such as percentage, frequency, table and the researcher was took 51 respondents out of these 48 were retrieved and appropriately filled. After data collected from these sources, the method of data analysis was descriptive analysis which the gathered data from respondents are carefully arranged and categorized in to suitable form by using such as percentage, frequency, table. And was interpreted. The results show that the school has same problem, as there is in consistency in decision making in the school and some teachers are found to be unhappy participation on the decisions made. Therefore, this study recommended that the principal could identify the key stakeholders to make decision in the school and he/she has to arrange these decision makers according to the situations to enable the key stakeholders participate in the decision making process. Generally, it was advisable for the key stakeholders to participate in the implementation of the final decision there by it is possible to achieve better academic performance
