ASSESSMENT OF CONFLICT MANAGEMENT PRACTICE: (A CASE STUDY OF WOLKITE UNIVERSITY)

Abstract

The main objective of this research is assessment on conflict management practice in Wolkite University. This research paper is important to create awareness on conflict management practice. In order to achieve the objective of the study, the researchers have collected both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through semi-structured interview and structured questionnaire while secondary data was obtained by referring secondary source such as book, manuals of the organization and other relevant materials. The researcher was used descriptive research design with both qualitative and quantitative method. Stratified sampling techniques were used to select the sampled academic and administrative staffs from each stratum. Finally it is possible to conclude that the working system between employees and manager is good. The study recommends that it is possible to advise that the effect of conflict is productive and the organizations working system is good.
