dc.description.abstractThis project deals about the structural analysis and design of a G+4 mixed use building considering all the external and internal effects according to (ES EN Design of Concrete Structures 2015), the project is located in Adama town. The plan area covered by 1027m2and total building height is17m In the first section concern about the background of the project, overall objective project, literature review, and methodology includes basic principles of analysis and design of structures, limitations, study area and the second concern about structural analysis and design project includes superstructure and substructure. Structural analysis and design of superstructure it contains analysis and design roof, slab, stair case, beam, column, and lateral load analysis. The analysis of the frame is done by using ETABS, and finally, using the joint reaction output, the foundation for the structure was designed based on soil characteristics of Adama town. From the analysis, it observed that the structure is design safely and economically under the exposed load.en_US
