abstract This research delves into a comprehensive technical analysis of cinemato graphy within the context of the Oromifa movie 'Harawa sardama.' Through an in-depthexploration of camera angles, camera shots, and composition techniques employedinthe film, this study aims to uncover the nuanced and deliberate choices made by th ecinematographer to convey meaning, evoke emotions, and enhance storytelling. The analysis begins with an examination of camera angles, focusing on thevarious perspectives used throughout the movie to frame scenes and portraycharacters. By scrutinizing the use of high and low angles, dutch angles, and other innovative approaches, the research seeks to unravel the impact of these choices onthe viewer's perception and engagement with the narrative. Furthermore, the study dissects the diverse camera shots utilized in 'Harawasardama,' including close-ups, wide shots, and medium shots. Through this analysis, the research aims to elucidate how different shot types contribute to scene dynamics, character development, and thematic resonance within the film.
