Abstract

This study conducted in wolkite university students cafeteria workers . The main objective of this study is to assess the effect of employee’s perception of hazard on the extent of risk safety measures. To study the researcher used simple random sampling technique. The data was analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive type of research design. The data collected from primary data through close ended questions. The main finding of the study is in most ergonomic and physical hazards employees have greater perception and they occur significantly. The student researcher recommends the university management should give training to employees to give employees good knowledge in responding to this workplace hazards and to do their job in a safe manner. Install advanced forklifts and take precautionary measures
