Abstract
The main purpose of this study to know factors which affect consumer preference towards
domestically made shoes versus foreign made shoes. Knowing the role of consumer preference
towards shoes and those factors affecting consumer preference is very important to marketers as
a determinant of success. To ensure success, an understanding of consumer preference is
important. The student researcher would use target population of Wolkite University business
and economics students. The student researcher was use descriptive sampling techniques and
select sample of 87 from 680 of target population. Based on the study objective, the studies would
have both primary and secondary data to identify the constraint that help consumer preference of
both foreign with domestic shoes. Primary data collected by using questionnaires and secondary
data would be collect from different document. Finally the research paper would be contain
analyzing and interpreting of the finding of the study and the student researcher would be
conclude and recommend the study
