Item ASSESSMENT OF KAP ON MENSTRUAL HYGIENE AMONG FEMALESTUDENTSINABAFRANSUAGENERALSECONDARY ANDPREPARATORY SCHOOL GUBRETOWN,GURAGEZONE, SOUTHERNREGION,ETHIOPIA,2023G.C(wolkite universty, 2023-12) NATIF GEBISA; MUSEAB EBRAHIBackground:Poorhygienerelatedmenstrualmanagementpracticesareaveryimportantriskfactorforreproductivetractinfections(RTI),andfemalessufferfrompoormenstrualhygiene,whichrestrictstheirmovementandselfconfidenceandendsuppoorschoolperformance.Menstrualhygieneandmanagementisanissuethatisinsufficientlyacknowledgedandhasnotreceivedadequateattention.Objective:TheobjectiveofthisstudyistoassessKAPonmenstrualhygieneamongfemalestudentsinGubretown,AbaFransuaGeneralsecondaryandpreparatoryschool,SouthernEthiopiafromJune15toJuly30,2023G.C.Method:Acrosssectionalstudydesignwasusedtoconductstudy.ASimplrandsamplingtechniquewasusedtoselectthestudyparticipants.DatawascollectedthroughastructuredquestionnaireandthecollecteddataenteredintoacomputerusingSPSSforanalysis.Ethicalapprovalwasobtainedfromtherelevantinstitutionalreviewboardbeforethestudybegins.Result:Among248respondent89.1%ofrespondentshavegoodknowledgeonmenstrualhygieneRegardingattitude71.0%respondentshavegoodattitudeonmenstrualhygieneandrespondentshavegoodpractice75.3%onmenstrualhygieneConclusion:Generallytheoverallresultofourstudyshowsthereisgood management on menstrua hygiene
