    Every business organization has its own unique service that leads to achieve the main objectivesor goal of the organization. Like any other business organization commercial bank of Ethiopiaprovide or deliver dif erent services by using dif erent technology in order to compete withotherorganization. For instance, the services that deliver by using technology are e-payment andATM. Therefore, the research paper tries to assess challenges and prospects of ATMpayment systemof commercial bank of Ethiopia in Gubre branch. It addresses three basic research questionsdesigned to assess challenges and prospects of ATM payment system of the bank. For the study, the researcher was used both primary and secondary data; much was focus on the primarydata. The more information that obtained by questionnaire. The main source of obtain primarydataare employees and ATM customer of the bank. The researcher was use convenience samplingtechnique to take 50 selected individuals participants (40 ATM users and 10 employees).Theprocessed data analyzed by using descriptive-statistics analysis methods. That is quantitativeand qualitative data analysis method and the data that collected through questionnaireandanalyzed by using dif erent analysis like percentages and tables.
