    ASSESSMENT FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND ANALYSIS OF BGI BREWERY FACTORY (2016-2018
    (WOLKITE UNIVERSITY, 2021-01) NIGIST TESFAYE, NIGIST
    This study entitled ‘Assessment of Financial Performance and Analysis of BGI Brewery Factory’ is conducted on BGI Ethiopia PLC. Comparative financial analysis approach is used to analyze the data. Three years audited financial reports from 2016-2018 of the company’s were taken for analysis purpose.The researcher has assessed different researches worked on financial performances of brewery factories in Ethiopia, but there are inadequate researches which show the real financial performance of BGI Ethiopia PLC. As a result the researcher has tried to assess the exact financial performance of BGI Ethiopia PLC by using different accounting techniques. In addition to assessing the financial performance of the industry the researcher has identified problems related to the financial performance of the industry such as insufficient profit, cash shortage, loan repayment, and shortage of inventory etc. This paper has used quantitative research approach to examine. The researcher has also used different accounting tools such as ratio analysis; including liquidity ratio, debt ratio, profitability ratio and asset management ratio, horizontal analysis, and vertical analysis. The analysis is presented in the form of tables, percentages, and graphs. Finally, Secondary data sources are used by the researcher
