    THE IMPACTS OF DIVORCE ON THE LIVES OF DIVORCED WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN IN GUBRE SUB –CITY: THE CASE OF BUCHA
    (WOLKITE UNIVERSITY, 2020-12) MOHAMMED LEBISO, MOHAMMED
    This study is entitled with the impact of divorce on the lives of divorced women and their children’s in Gubre sub city particularly in Buchach kebele. The study used a cross sectional investigation through qualitative method; using interview, case study and focus group discussion with 20 sampled respondents and semi structured interview with key informants. The researcher also used both primary and secondary sources of data.The primary data was collected by using interview, case study and focus group discussion and the secondary data was collected through using documented sources such as books, magazines, journals and other internet sources. The data were organized and analyzed using descriptive methods and narrative methods. The finding of this study shows that divorce has a profound impact on women and children. Those impacts are social, economical and psychological depression, anxiety, loneness, regression etc. Above all, children are exposed to street life, homelessness, prostitution etc., and this can in-turn af ect society by disturbing social order, stability and harmonious functioning through delinquency and crime like theft, robbery and others. To reduce such impacts divorced families, governmental organization and religious leaders should work in a cooperative mann
