    PRACTICES AND CHALLENGES OF ACTIVE LEARNING METHODS IN SOME SELECTED PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF WOLKITE TOWN ADMINISTRATION.
    (WOLKITE UNIVERSITY, 2022-06) KIBRYISFAW SIBANI, KIBRYISFAW
    The main purpose of this research is to assess the practice and challenges of active learning methods in some selected public secondary schools of wolkite town administration. Teachers, principals and students were taken as sample subject of the study. To collect data from the respondent’s instruments were used. They were questionnaires close and open ended and structured interview were administered to analysis the data collected, qualitative and quantitative analyze approach was used. That is data collected through close ended questionnaires were presented by using frequency and percentage, while they response, obtained from the open ended and structured interview were disturbed and discussed in the words. Therefore, analysis, major findings and conclusions were obtained. This were students have (37%) of medium interest of attending learner centered methods of teaching learning process. The availability of instructional methods was affected by the application of learner centered methods etc. And on other hand conclusions were made with school principals, teachers and students administration education office, etc., the school principal by connected with administration education office to fulfill the shortage of texts, class size and other school’s facilities as much as possible.
