    EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF PUBLIC INVESTMENT ON PRIVATE INVESTMENT: IN CASE OF ABESHIGE WOREDA.

    nvestment is very essential to mobilize human and natural resource to more productive efficient and effective utilization of available resource by allocating them in investment activity. So the government of Ethiopia has given much concern to this activity. However, this activity is in its low level in the country and in one of the Abeshige woreda. For this reason, the purpose of this research paper is to explore the impact of public investment on private investment in Abeshige woreda. The source of data includes both primary and secondary method of data collection. Primary data obtained by questionnaire on private investment in the woreda and oral questions for the manger of investment. To conduct the questions on time 17 respondents have been selected by simple random sampling method. The questions include information about the contribution of government to investment, quality of infrastructure supply; tax level on investment economic role of investment, problems faced investors and possible solutions to alleviate problems in the future. The secondary data collected from written materials available in woreda administration. Finally, the data obtained from primary and secondary source analyzed, through mixed methods.
