    ASSESSING THE EFFECTS OF E-BANKING ON CUSTOMER SAVING/WITHDRAWAL LIFE (IN COMMERCIAL BANK OF ETHIOPIA ASSELA BRANCH)

    In today’s business world, globalization and international experience has become critically important. life. The general objective of the research project was to assess the effects of e banking service on customers saving/withdrawal life in Commercial Banks of Ethiopia Asella branch. In this study, the researcher was used both qualitative & quantitative approach. For the purpose of the study, 100 respondents were randomly selected from customers of commercial bank of Ethiopia Asella branch. The analysis of the result indicates that 75% of the respondents reveal that e-banking could decrease the saving rate, whereas the rest of 25% of the respondents said that saving rate could increase or no change in saving rate by using e banking service. In general, as the analysis indicates, using e-banking could have an effect on the saving/withdrawal life of customers in CBE. The conclusion therefore is that banks should strive to increase their safety to overthrow the weakness, reduce the problem of the network, adjust the amount which customers may be allowed to withdraw at a time and provide electronic alerts to customers ‘phone for all transactions carried out on their bank accounts through e-banking.
