Item EMPLOYEE HOUSING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR WOLKITE UNIVERSITY(WOLKITE UNIVERSITY, 2022-06-14) Amsale Silassie,; Biniam Teshome; Daniel Adugna,Todays, many organizations prepare houses for their employee. Employee housing management system in many organizations is necessary to enhance the teaching and learning process by creating favorable conditions for their employee. Wolkite University is also one organization that prepare the house for their employee. The existing employee housing management system in Wolkite University is done manually, due to this reason users are wasting their time and resource. There is a lot of duplication and common errors are faced while entering and updating employee and house data, making it inconsistent and unavailable at times for future uses. In addition to this retrieval of information is a slow and boring task to perform any activities. To overcome the problems in the existing employee housing management system we have developed a ―Web-based employee housing management system‖ which is an automated system to perform tasks regarding employee house management. So, the employee housing management system is important for the house administration office to manage housing information easily, for an employee to access system to apply to the house and important to us to develop our problem-solving skills. Our team used interviews, document review, and observation for data collection and fact-finding. The team also used tools for developing the system like Visual Studio and sublime text as editor, PHP has been engaged as a development language and MySQL as a backend database with CSS implemented for the interface. And also, our team uses an iterative software process model to gather requirements, analyze the system, design the system, and any other activity.
