    Role of Accounting Information System in Decsion Making ( A Case Study of Debub Global Bank In Worabe Branch)

    This study examines the role of accounting information system in decision making (case study of Debub global bank in Worabe branch). Accounting information system is the most important requirement for decision makers to achieve the banks objectives. Availability of adequate accounting information system plays a great role in decision making process such as to decide the lending and borrowing policy of the bank. Every bank worker should know the role of accounting information’s in decision making process. The specific objectives are also the assess how accounting information system is reported to decision makers to evaluate how decision makers use accounting information system in decision making process and to identify the factors that hinder the role of accounting information system not to play its role in decision making process. To evaluate and examine this problem the study adopts census of complete numeration to collect data from workers of the bank. The collected data were primary data and secondary source of data. The study mainly used the primary source include questionnaires and unstructured interviewees and Secondary data has been collected from literature and journals. In addition to this the study used mixed Research design and the collected data was analyzed and interpreted with explanation. Finally, summary of major findings taken from the study financial and managerial accounting information system are used for banks decision making and the majority of the respondents agreed on its difficult to get easily available accounting information system to decision making. Finally recommended that, the accounting information system plays a vital role in decision making process of one organization. DGB accounting information system should be relevant for decision makers and the bank should create awareness and improve its functional workers in the use of accounting information system in decision making process and to overcome a problem identified a constructive recommendation would be made DGB should check the information disperse in the company in order to minimize the knowledge gap.
