    Socio-Cultural Factors Affecting Female Student Educational Achievement in Gurage Zone: In Case Bad Secondary School

    The main objective of this study was to assess the socio cultural factors of affecting female educational achievement in bad secondary school. To conduct this research was prepared questionnaire, interview and key informant interview which assess major factors that affect female on education. the study used statistical packages particularly the percentage and table .The purpose of the study was to establish socio-cultural factors affecting female academic achievement in bad secondary schools .The study employed descriptive survey where Questionnaires were used to collect data from teachers and students, and interview schedule was used as data collection instrument for heads of schools parent, and student who formed the sample group of the study. In addition both probability and non-probability sampling technique was employed and 45 of respondent were selected from the total school student. We were used data collected primary and secondary source. We are used research approach both quantitative and qualitative .Finally on the base of the findings study socio cultural factors affecting female student educational achievement harassment, attitude, discrimination, gender bias, family background, distance from school, all are impact of female education the appropriate conclusion and recommendation for further action were forward the socio economic factor affecting among female educational achievement in bad secondary school.
