    ESSMENT OF POTENTIAL TOURISM RESOURCE OF CHOKE MOUNTAIN, NORTHERN, ETHIOPIA
    (WOLKITE UNIVERSITY, 2019-06) ATALAY AMOGNE,
    This study focused on assessment of potential tourism resources in Choke Mountain east Gojjam zone, Amhara region. To accomplish this study, the researcher used both primary and secondary source of data. The researcher used non probability sampling technique that is purposive sampling and also used both questioner and interview for data collection approaches. In this study was conducted by descriptive research design and also number of samples used 50 respondents. The researcher was used both qualitative and quantitative method of data analysis in the form of table, frequency and percentage. Based on the finding the study results that Choke Mountain has endowed with natural and cultural potential tourism resources. Such as Aba Jime forests, Arat Mekerakir, Molalit cave, plant species and wildlife species accompanying with both tangible and intangible cultural tourism resources such as wedding and cultural festival. The researcher was identifying the main problems of potential tourism resource development in Choke Mountain Such As; lack of awareness, lack of promotion, lack of skilled man power and lack of infrastructure.
