    The research was conducted on Wolkite University to deal the assessment of the material management and controlling practice in case of Wolkite University with different function. The main objective of the study was to analyze the existing materials management and controlling practice in Wolkite University. To meet this objective, the necessary primary data would have conducted by distributing questionnaires using samples respondents. This is a quantitative study a questionnaire would use to assessment of the material management and controlling practices to provide service and support to operate functions by making available and an interrupted flow of materials. Finally, after analysis conclusions, suggestion, ideas, feedbacks would state as a recommendation
