The objective of the study is to assess the factors that affect expansion of investment activities in case of wolkite town and after assessing the factors the studier will be able to identify the problems and give comments. There by intending to suggest some possible solutions to problems that may are identified in the course of the study. The order to accomplish properly the studie used different methods of data collecting and analyzing method. The primary data are the observation of the studie during data collection of questionnaire and interview.questionarie that are filled by the investors of the town and interview for employer of investment office Gurage zone. The total population of the study 53 investors. Stratified random sampling was used and the sample size was 47and from this 43 investor and 4 employer of the office. The findings were analyzed using descriptive tables was used to analyze factor affecting expansion of investment in case of Wolkite town .The sampling technique used is sample surveys which enable the studie research not biased and to get proportional and full information about this studie. The finding of the study show that The incentives provided are not adequate enough.there is lack of infrastructure facilities, bureaucratic nature of local government to give investment permission, lack of credit availability is also there. All organization and institutions should draw programs for the development of the economy and Supporting and encouraging those investors those are on the phase of processing and give training of investors and infrastructure facilities to remove the bottlenecks for expansion of investment in the town.en:expansion of investment ,,Wolkite twon,factor affectThesis
